Every great summit leaves a mark ? not just in the memories of those who attended, but in the communities, businesses, and lives they returned to afterwards. SheArose Summit 2025 was no different. In the months since the event, we have heard story after story of women who left Freetown changed, equipped, and ready to rise.
By the Numbers
The 2025 summit brought together over 400 delegates from across Sierra Leone, with participants also joining from the United Kingdom, the United States, and several other African nations. We hosted more than 20 speakers, ran 12 workshops, and celebrated 8 outstanding women at the SheArose Awards Gala.
Stories That Moved Us
One of the most memorable moments came during the entrepreneurship panel, when a young delegate from Kenema stood up during the Q&A to share how she had launched her tailoring business with nothing but a borrowed sewing machine and a determination that no obstacle could dim. By the end of the session, three panellists had exchanged contacts with her to explore partnerships. That is SheArose at its best.
Our faith and purpose session drew the largest audience of any workshop, a testament to the deep hunger among our community for conversations that go beyond business strategy and touch the soul.
Partnerships Formed
Several partnerships and collaborations were initiated at the 2025 summit that have since blossomed into tangible outcomes ? from a women's cooperative in the Western Area to a mentorship programme connecting professionals in Freetown with members of the diaspora in London.
Looking Ahead
